By downloading, installing, or using [App Name] (the "App"), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the App. Your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of any updates or changes to these Terms.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to download and install the App on your personal mobile device solely for the purpose of reporting civic issues such as litter, potholes, and stray animals on public roads, viewing the public map of reported issues, and participating in community cleanup or rescue efforts where applicable. This license strictly prohibits you from sharing, renting, or sublicensing the App, reversing engineer, decompiling, or hacking the App or its underlying Machine Learning models, utilizing the App for any commercial purposes without our prior written authorization, or creating any derivative works or modifications based on the App.
All intellectual property in the App, including source code, design, logos, and Machine Learning models, belongs exclusively to RTwo Automata LLP. You retain ownership of images you submit, but grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to display them on the public map and for analysis or improvement purposes.
(a) Use the App for Surveillance: Do not use the App to track, photograph, stalk, or monitor specific individuals without their consent. Such conduct may amount to unlawful processing of personal data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and may also attract criminal liability under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
(b) Endanger Others: Do not use the camera feature while driving or operating machinery. Always prioritize road safety.
(c) Manipulate the System: You agree not to manipulate or disrupt the integrity of the App by submitting false, misleading, or non-existent reports (such as reporting a pothole where none exists), spamming or flooding the map with duplicate submissions, or utilizing any automated tools, bots, or scripts to generate fake reports or artificially inflate reporting metrics. We reserve the right to verify the accuracy of submissions and may suspend accounts found engaging in such deceptive practices.
(d) Illegal Activity: Do not use the App to facilitate harassment, defamation, fraud, or any unlawful conduct.
(e) Abuse Vulnerable Persons: Do not use the App to target or photograph children, elderly persons, or persons with disabilities without proper consent or guardian authorization.
Any violation of these rules, including the submission of false reports, misuse of the App for surveillance, or engagement in unlawful activities, may result in the immediate suspension or permanent termination of your account and the removal of any infringing content or false reports from the public map. We further reserve the right to pursue appropriate civil or criminal legal action and to refer matters to law enforcement agencies or municipal authorities where such conduct warrants investigation or violates applicable laws.
By enabling camera permissions, you acknowledge and agree that the App will access your device's camera solely while the App is active in the foreground, and you are using the reporting feature. We do not access, record, or transmit camera data while the App is running in the background or when it is closed. You retain full control over this permission and may revoke camera access at any time through your device settings (e.g., Settings > Apps > [App Name] > Permissions), though doing so will disable the visual reporting functionality.
While street-level photography on public roads is generally lawful in India, you are responsible for ensuring that you have the lawful right to photograph locations and that you do not violate anyone's privacy. Users must avoid deliberately photographing identifiable individuals without their consent. To minimize privacy intrusion, we will automatically blur faces and vehicle license plates in images before they are publicly shared. If an individual wishes to request the removal of their image, they should contact us immediately for prompt action.
When you submit a report through the App, you acknowledge and agree that the location of the reported issue and any supporting images you provide will become publicly visible on the App's interactive map. This information is accessible to volunteers, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and municipal authorities to facilitate community action. Furthermore, to expedite the resolution of civic issues, we may share this data with relevant partner organizations, such as animal shelters and public works departments.
Your name (username) may appear on your submitted report. If you prefer anonymity, ensure your account profile does not contain your real name.
Once a report is successfully submitted and marked as "Active" on the public map, it cannot be edited or removed by the user. Reports remain publicly visible until they are formally updated to "Resolved" status by authorized volunteers or civic authorities, flagged and removed by our moderators as false or spam, or if removal is required by a valid court order or law enforcement request.
The App uses Google Maps Platform to display reports. Your location data and civic reports are processed by Google according to their Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. We recommend reviewing Google's terms separately.
The App may contain links to third-party websites (municipal corporation portals, shelter organizations, etc.). We are not responsible for the content, practices, or policies of third-party sites. Use at your own risk.
The App uses cloud infrastructure provided by [AWS/Google Cloud/Azure] to store reports, images, and map data. These providers process data under confidentiality agreements.
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law:
The App is provided to you on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without any warranties or conditions of any kind. We expressly disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, completeness, reliability, functionality, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement of third-party rights. By using the App, you acknowledge and agree that you assume all risks associated with your use, including any risk of personal injury, property damage, data loss, or reliance on the civic data provided.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RTwo Automata LLP, along with its officers, employees, and agents, from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to your use or misuse of the App, any content you submit (including photos, reports, and comments), your violation of these Terms or applicable laws, or any claims by third parties alleging that your submissions violate their privacy, intellectual property, or other rights.
